Paul Vance, a local boy from New Milford, died earlier this month of lung cancer. While you may not know him by name, you will know him by the #1 song he penned for Brian Hyland called "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini", which rose to the top of the charts in 1960. A classic by all means, and another local musician/songwriter lost this year (Gene Pitney died in April). God bless you Mr. Vance, and thanks for the classic rocknroll music.
